Can everyone just agree that the day after Labor Day is the beginning of fall? Even though it’s not *officially* fall yet, it’s the time of year where you want to wear all the oversized sweaters and booties, but you can’t because it still gets too hot during the day- and no one wants to be drenched in sweat while trying to look cute, right? Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to transition your summer wardrobe into fall.

This past weekend I was visiting family in Ohio (also where I grew up), and it was pretty warm out during the day. I paired my favorite white tank with this long vest over it. I love these longer vests, or sleeveless duster, whatever you want to call it, during the beginning of fall to dress up an outfit and add another layer (that’s what fall’s for, right?). This one was super affordable and I can tell I’m going to be adding it to outfits all season.

While the weather is still warm, adding light pieces like this to an outfit gives it some fall vibes, but you’re not dying when it’s still 80 degrees during the day. I would even add a long sleeve duster, which I’ve linked below, over a simple tee (like the ones I mentioned here) and pair of jeans or shorts, and you have an easy outfit for this weird transition period. I love doing this because you can use things you already have in your closet but it completely changes the look.

Be prepared for more fall transition posts coming soon! This is my favorite season to dress for and I’ve been dying to show you guys what I’ve been buying over the past month πŸ™‚ Also, if there are any specific posts you want to see, leave a comment below letting me know and I’ll take a look!
